Earwig pest control starts with prevention. Seal cracks in windows, doors and screens to cut off their entryways. Make the outside of your home less cozy by removing wood and leaf piles and put up bird feeders to encourage birds who naturally keep the population down.
If earwigs have already set up a residence in your home you can create traps by filling a clean tuna can or any shallow, straight-sided container halfway with vegetable oil. Another trick is to dampen a newspaper with water, roll it up and place where the earwigs are hanging out. In both instances they will check in the trap but wont check out.Got Ants?
